Parsons Parks and Recreation

Named for the president of the Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railroad, Levi Parsons, Parsons has been one of the most dynamic communities in Kansas since it was incorporated in 1871. Parsons Recreation Commission has 16 parks including 2 facilities: Arvon Philips Community Center and Multi-Arts Academy, Large pool, 10 picnic shelters, 10 playground areas, six basketball courts, 24 RV camping spots, and three restroom facilities.
